Peer Support Network (PSN)
A way to feel more supported yourself, to help you to support other people.
PSN gives you personal and emotional support by providing a safe and confidential pace to talk about your feelings. It begins with a free Taster event followed by a 3-day training, where you learn a lot about how you tick emotionally.
You learn through experience, by trying things out. The teaching is informal, with little need for theory or notes. PSN is based on well-established psychological and psychodynamic principles.
When we feel more supported, our self-esteem and confidence increases. We become more effective and productive in all areas of life. Peer support is now recognised as a powerful way to address the problems of anxiety, depresssion and stress. Being able to express feelings safely is proven to be the most effective way to reduce stress.
