Tips for Healthy Living

Here is a list of healthy ways of looking after yourself. Use the list to select those things that will help you and schedule them into your daily life.


Go for a walk
Read a book
listen to music
aerobic exercise – sport, running, swimming, etc
go to the theatre
gardening
sit by the sea
get a massage
eat a healthy diet
reduce caffeine and sugar
get enough sleep
singing
take a long bath
play music
go for a bike ride
any sort of humour
talk to friends
find or start a support group
enjoy an occasional good cup of coffee or other small treat
meditate
Yoga
listen to relaxation tapes
play – with children, pets or anyone else!
Get regular dental checks
